Introduction to DartCodeAI and TechniDox
DartCodeAI brings repository code and documentation into one workspace. TechniDox is its documentation module, so opening TechniDox uses the same account, organization and repository rather than another product signup.
Repository source and Markdown drafts
In the Standard workspace, an organization owner or admin imports text files from one repository. An imported snapshot retains those files independently of the original Git repository. Choose a file to read its source; choose a Markdown file to edit documentation and save a draft.
Saved drafts retain their own versions. You can reopen a draft, compare it with the imported source and download its text. Viewers can read the workspace; importing, editing and deleting require write access.
Saving a draft does not publish it to Git. Repository updates are not imported automatically. Download any drafts you need before removing a snapshot: removing the snapshot also removes its saved drafts, while the original Git repository remains unchanged.
See Getting started for the import and editing steps, and Suite features and Standard limits for shared allowances. Hosted paid AI is not included in Standard.
Existing standalone accounts and integrations
Existing standalone accounts keep their agreed product access. Available connections, AI services and publication actions depend on the account, repository permissions and configured services. Review Product AI integration before using developer integrations. A matching email address does not migrate a standalone account into an Aortem organization.
Feature flags use IntelliToggle
For feature flags, remote toggles, runtime evaluation and OpenFeature integration, use IntelliToggle documentation. Those workflows do not describe the DartCodeAI repository and TechniDox Markdown workspace.
Begin
Follow Getting started with the account used for your workspace. If the expected organization or repository is missing, use Aortem customer support to resolve access before creating another organization.
