Getting started with DartCodeAI and TechniDox

New Suite customers

New Suite customers start with Aortem Suite signup. Create one Aortem organization on the free Standard plan, then add your application and open its included products from the Suite workspace. Standard does not require a payment card, sales request or manual approval. Do not buy a separate product subscription to use an included Suite product.

If automatic setup fails, keep the existing organization and application and use the setup recovery or support path. Creating another organization does not repair the original setup.

Open the correct account and workspace

For an Aortem Suite organization, open DartCodeAI or TechniDox from the organization’s application in the Aortem console. Both open the same repository workspace. Continue with the Aortem Google account used for that organization.

Existing standalone customers use DartCodeAI sign-in with their existing product account. Standalone access and Suite organization membership are separate; matching email addresses do not migrate or link them.

If the expected organization or repository is missing, use customer support to check access. Creating another organization does not restore access to the original workspace.

Import a Standard repository snapshot

An organization owner or admin can import text files from one repository. Enter its name as owner/project, enter its branch, select the files and choose Import snapshot. An import accepts 1-128 files, each at most 256 KiB, with at most 900 KB of text in total. Selected files retain their filenames.

Choose a file to read its source. A Markdown file opens the TechniDox draft editor. Edit its text and select Save draft. Open a saved draft to continue editing, compare it with imported source or select Download file to save the text locally. Refresh the workspace to verify a saved draft persists.

Know what a snapshot and draft change

An import is a manual snapshot. Git repository updates are not synchronized automatically. Saving or downloading a draft does not create a Git commit or pull request. The original Git repository remains unchanged.

Switching files with unsaved edits asks whether to discard those edits. Cancel keeps your text in the editor. Confirm discards the unsaved edits before opening the selected file. See Repository and draft workflow.

To replace a snapshot, download drafts you need, remove the existing snapshot and import its replacement. Removing a snapshot also removes its saved drafts. Viewers can read the workspace; importing, editing and deleting require an owner or admin role.

The repository and drafts share the Suite storage allowance. Hosted paid AI is not included in Standard. See Suite features and Standard limits.

Developer integrations and help

Existing accounts use their configured connections and services according to their plan and repository permissions. See Product AI integration for developer integration contracts, or Workspace questions for common repository and access problems.

For feature flags and OpenFeature SDK instructions, use IntelliToggle documentation. Those workflows do not describe the DartCodeAI repository or TechniDox Markdown workspace.
